Cedric Choan, M.D., the Medical Director of Focus Medical Spa, is certified in non surgical medical cosmetic procedures. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Choan attended medical school at the Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in Anesthesiology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. He is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and has been practicing in the local community since 1995.
Judie is a California State Licensed Registered Nurse. She has worked in many different fields of nursing, including over twelve years of Emergency / Critical Care Nursing and seven years in Aesthetic Nursing. Within the aesthetic aspect of nursing she is experienced in Laser Hair Removal, Photorejuvenation, Botox, and Dermal Fillers. She is accredited with several certifications in aesthetic medicine and additionally is a member of the Association of Aesthetic Nursing.
Angel has been a licensed esthetician for over eight years. She continues to educate herself by attending esthetic conventions and seminars focusing on the most advanced and beneficial skin care treatments. She is trained and in many skin care lines, including: PCA, TRUE, Clayton Shagal, BioMedic / La Roche Posay, SkinCeuticals, Dermalogica, BioElements, Jan Marini. and MD Formulations. She specializes in chemical peel treatments for skin rejuvenation and the treatment of acne. She is committed to providing each of her clients with individualized skin care to enhance their skin’s natural beauty. Whether a client is concerned with fine lines, acne, or hyperpigmentation, Angel can customize the perfect treatment and home care regimen to achieve desired results.
Katie Owen holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. To Focus Medical Spa she brings over 6 years of laser and aesthetic experience. Katie is experienced and certified in a multitude of lasers, as well as advanced certification in Botox and injectable fillers. She has spent the past few years working for an internationally recognized plastic surgery group in San Diego. Prior to plastic surgery nursing, she worked in cardiac telemetry. Katie has an insatiable curiosity for how the skin is effected by health, as well as the environment. At your consult with Katie, you will work together to identify health or lifestyle issues, that effect your skin's health. She is available for consult to answer any questions you may have about lasers, Botox, fillers or surgical options, to talk about what is right for you.
